About the print.

A high-quality fine art print captures the delicate beauty of wild dandelions set against an atmospheric blue landscape, where soft hues blend to create a serene and enchanting scene.

Each artwork in my shop is lovingly created and printed to deliver exceptional quality. This original artwork is printed onto Matte High-Resolution 230 GSM photo paper, resulting in a stunning print with vibrant colours and fine details. Whether the original was crafted using watercolours, coloured pencils, or pastel pencils, every print captures the essence of the artwork beautifully.

I take great care to package all prints with love and attention to detail, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition, and ready to be displayed in your home.

Dimensions available : A1 (approx 59.4x84.1 cm), A2 (approx 42cm x 59.4cm ), A3 (approx 29.7 x 42cm) A4 (approx 21 x 29.7cm), A5 (approx 14.8 x 21cm), A6 (10.5 x 5.8 cm).

How to Flatten Your Large Print (A2 & A1 Sizes)

To ensure your print looks its best, follow these steps to flatten it:

1. Prepare a Clean, Flat Surface
Find a large, clean, and flat surface like a table or floor.
Ensure the surface is free of dirt, dust, or anything that could damage the print.

2. Unroll the Print Gently
Carefully remove the print from the tube.
Lay it flat on a clean surface, allowing the natural curl of the paper to relax.

3. Reverse Roll the Print
Take one end of the print and gently roll it in the opposite direction of its original curl.
Do this slowly to avoid creasing or damaging the print.

4. Secure with Gentle Weight
After reverse rolling, lay the print flat again.
Place a few heavy, flat objects (like books) on each corner and along the edges to keep it flat.
Ensure the objects are clean to prevent marks on the print.

5. Allow Time to Flatten
Leave the print under the weight for at least 24 hours.
Extra-curled prints may require up to 48 hours.

6. Check Progress
After 24-48 hours, check if the print has flattened.
If necessary, reapply the weights and allow more time. How to Best Frame Your Art Print

To showcase and protect your print, proper framing is key. Here are some tips to help you get the best results:

1. Choose the Right Frame Size
Measure your print: Make sure to measure your print’s dimensions (A2 or A1) and choose a frame that fits.
Matting options: You can add a mat (the border inside the frame) to give extra space around the artwork, which enhances its presentation. A white or neutral-colored mat works well for a clean, modern look.

2. Use UV-Protective Glass
UV-filtering glass or acrylic: This helps prevent fading by blocking harmful ultraviolet light, keeping the colors of your print vibrant over time. It’s especially important if the artwork will be displayed in bright or sunlit areas.

3. Opt for a High-Quality Frame
Materials: Wood or metal frames work well for giclée prints. Choose a frame style that complements the artwork without overpowering it.
Colors: A classic black, white, or natural wood frame provides a minimalist look, while a bolder color can make the artwork stand out.

4. Ensure Proper Backing and Mounting
Acid-free backing: Use acid-free materials to avoid discoloration of the print over time.
Securing the print: Make sure the print is evenly secured in the frame, either using photo corners or framing tape designed for artwork. Avoid using regular tape, which can damage the print.

5. Placement and Care
Avoid direct sunlight: Even with UV-protective glass, it’s best to avoid placing the framed print in direct sunlight to minimize fading.
Cleaning: When cleaning the glass, use a soft, lint-free cloth and avoid spraying cleaner directly on the glass to prevent moisture from seeping into the frame.

6. Custom Framing Options
For a truly professional finish, you may want to consider custom framing from a framer who can tailor the matting, frame style, and glass options to your specific print.
By following these tips, your print will not only look beautiful but stay protected for years to come.

What can't I say about this watercolour? I love the depth of the blue dandelions, it's like looking into a fractal universe of flowers the more I stare at it. The finish on Giclee cotton paper gave this such a vibrant finish and its a wonderful addition to my living room! Gemma was incredibly helpful in identifying what colour frame I should use, it arrived earlier than I expected and for the price it's an absolute steal. 100% will buy from her again!
